Rachel's Hope
After Abortion Healing and
Reconciliation for Catholic Women
(or Catholic friendly)

Following her weekend. Bradshaw attended a few support group meetings, then approached Benefield about volunteering at the crisis pregnancy center at Mercy. Though Bradshaw initially doubted she was qualified to work as a counselor. Benefield disagreed. “She thought with my first-hand experience I would be most helpful as a counselor.” Bradshaw says. She now volunteers there one day a week. “I love it,” she says. “It’s so rewarding. Each client is so special and I truly admire them for reaching out to get help. Bradshaw, who says she ”occasionally thinks how wonderful it would be to go back in time and undo my mistake”, recently told her father about her abortion, something she was terrified to do. And mirroring the love of the Heavenly Father, he embraced her. He told her how proud he was of her pro-life work and said he wished she would have come to him when she was pregnant. Bradshaw know she is unable to change history but she is helping others avoid the sorrowful choices she made.
